Dr Beck Blood Cleaner and Hulda Clark "Zapper".
This is my combined Hulda Clark "Zapper" and Dr Beck Blood Cleaner. Shown with the Clark zapper handholds plugged into it. I called it my Pulsar 2 Electrotherapy machine because I thought the name sounded clever!!
CLARK claims her zapper can heal. Similarly, the late Dr. BECK claims healing abilities for his blood cleaner.
Please note: I DO NOT MAKE ANY CLAIMS for these kinds of machine! Clark and Beck have made these claims. I am aware that Clark at least has been prosecuted for fraudulent claims. I am not a doctor. I do not recommend these machines for anything. I built my own machines as an exercise in electronics and for curiosity's sake.
Once I used my PULSAR 2 machine on myself. I set it to "Dr Beck" mode and fed pulses of electricity into conductive pads on each side of a wrist vein. After quite a while of waiting to see what would happen, I suffered an uncomfortable side-effect. I do not recommend anybody else do this. It is entirely the responsibility of the reader if they wish to follow the encouragements of many internet sites which proclaim that the
Beck" or "Clarke" devices can do anything helpful.

Kirlian Photography ~
Pictures of the Human Aura ?
My finger is resting in the film (35mm rolls of film) transport area in the light-tight box. This is where the finger is placed for the Kirlian photograph to be taken. In normal use this box is only opened in darkroom conditions.
The box also contains the tiny light sources for the BINARY MARKING SYSTEM which exposes a row of dots on the film to identify a particular photo.
The PRESSURE COMPENSATING system keeps all finger pressures the same on the film/corona discharge plate assembly.
The physical layout and use of the unit kept the ANGLE of all FINGERS ON THE FILM the same.

The cream box in front of the light-tight box, above, contains all the electronics for this high-tech Kirlian system. It runs off 12VDC and has an automatic LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE ALARM to ensure good control of the Kirlian corona voltage. The copper pads on the top of the electronics box are to measure SKIN RESISTANCE between two fingers and the analogue meter indicates the resistance. The five switches under the meter are set to indicate a five digit binary number on the film frame for identification.
The BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, TEMPERATURE and HUMIDITY were all recorded at each Kirlian photo session as it was thought this might have a bearing on the nature of the Kirlian corona discharge.

Kirlian Photography ~ A Medical Breakthrough ?
This is a Kirlian Photograph of Stan Hood's finger, taken with the above Kirlian apparatus.
Semyon Davidovich Kirlian developed this form of "Aura Photography" in the 1930s in the Soviet Union. Initially, Kirlian photographs were of the fingertip, but later Kirlian developed methods to photograph his "Kirlian aura" virtually anywhere on the human body.
Kirlian photography was virtually unknown in the Western World until the 1970s. Kirlian claimed his photography was useful as a medical diagnostic tool, allowing accurate diagnoses to be made of illnesses before their onset could be determined by any other means in the medical field at the time.
It was said that the shape of the Kirlian aura around the fingertip, in the early days of black-and-white Kirlian photographs, determined the nature of illness in the person.
Those people of a scientific bent may well consider this method of so-called aura photography to be nothing more than the expected high-voltage corona discharge of electricity around the fingertip (for Kirlian relies upon high voltages in his apparatus, perhaps 5,000V to 20,000V). The voltage is applied at a very low current, which makes it harmless to human life.

"... You Are In My Power ..."
(But then again, maybe not...)
The Brain wave Stimulator:
One of Stan's earlier designs, built to ascertain how, and if, brain wave patterns could be stimulated in order to generate a given mood in a person. Researchers had reported that any particular mood, state of mind or state of wakefulness (or sleepiness) of a person was always accompanied by a specific brain waveband of frequencies. The idea of this machine was to push the frequencies into the brain first, and then see if the expected mood would quickly follow.
The machine had two methods of stimulating brain waves: one was by white noise modulated at the brain wave frequency selected by the front dials on the machine, and the other was by magnetic pulses at the brain wave frequency.
It could have been the world's first "dial a mood" machine, but ...
~ it was a bit difficult to experiment on people with this machine. Would-be victims - er - I mean, "volunteers in this worthy scientific research", would back away in fear. They thought that the machine was some kind of mad-scientist mind-control device which would turn them into zombies who obeyed my every whim... The reality was a lot less dramatic (oh well, can't win 'em all. Now I have to find another way to rule the world...! No - wait - I was only joking...).
It's also a crude Rife Machine:
Many years after building the above brainwave stimulator, I realised that it could be used, with additions, as a limited-range Rife healing machine. Proper Rife machines used a wide selection of frequencies to allegedly kill bacteria and viruses and to cure a range of ailments. I make no such claim for healing, I am only repeating what Rife believers claim. However, my brainwave stimulator had a comparatively restricted frequency range. Even so, by plugging a 150mm magnetic coil on a flexible cable into the brainwave machine, I was able to select a suitable Rife frequency by means of the front panel controls and use it on myself, with interesting results.

And a Special "One-off" Project for a friend:
I can't tell you what it is, that's a commercial secret. But I can say that it is the only one like it in the world. Quite proud of this very versatile - er - "thingummy-jig", actually. saves my friend a lot of time, and time is money in the business world.
And yes, I know the yellow multimeter is a bit crude, but the decision to use a $10 brand new multimeter at sale price, velcroed to the front of the device, saved about $200 of buying a nice recessed meter and fitting it professionally to a stock cabinet. Like I say, time is money - and - er - money is money, too...
